About Osprey

For nearly thirty years, Osprey was a familiar sight on Auckland’s inner harbour, carrying generations of commuters across the Waitematā. Built in Whangārei in 1994 as a 22m fibreglass foam-core catamaran, she served faithfully as both a ferry and charter vessel.

In 2023, Osprey was acquired by Ocean Harmony Limited, owners of the luxury yacht Regal Flyer, and underwent a dramatic transformation. Today, she shines with fresh interiors, polished stainless steel, and advanced smart lighting — a reinvention that turns a hardworking ferry into a premium charter platform for up to 150 guests.
